Payments

We accept payment via secure bank transfer or online payment platforms such as Wise. Payments must be cleared in advance of class dates, any payments still outstanding within 48 hours of a scheduled class will result in cancellation of the class.

Student Progress Meetings

As a student of Malvern English Academy, student progress meetings are all part of the service we offer. If you want to review your own or your teen's progress, discuss a concern that you have related to studying or want to discuss other ways that we can make the most of your classes, contact us about booking a free student progress meeting.

Cancellation Policy

We have a transparent cancellation policy to ensure that we offer maximum flexibility to our students. Any cancellations must be notified in writing more than 24 hours in advance of the class time. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance can be rescheduled for a suitable alternative date. Any classes that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or not attended cannot be refunded or rescheduled. In cases where a student isn't present at the start of the class, your teacher will attempt to contact you using your provided contact details. Malvern English Academy maintains the right to use discretion on taking future bookings in cases of multiple short notice cancellations.

Technical Issues

Holding classes online can sometimes be subject to technical disruptions due to internet problems, hardware or software issues. Your teacher will always try their best to assist in cases where you may be experiencing technical problems. However, Malvern English Academy are unable to recover time lost in class due to technical issues at the student end. In rare cases where there is a technical issue at the teacher end, any time lost will be credited to be taken at the end of the class time or on another date, as preferred by the student. 

Student Behaviour

We have a zero tolerance policy on offensive or inappropriate behaviour in class. In any case where the teacher observes behaviour which does not meet these standards, the class will be immediately terminated and Malvern English Academy maintains the right to use discretion on taking future bookings.

Refunds

Refunds are not available on classes completed or not attended by the student.  Other cases will be considered at the discretion of Malvern English Academy and will be subject to meeting the criteria of our other policies.
